Studio Sontosis crafts functional and artful ceramics with an eye for sculptural forms. The logotype captures the juxtaposition behind the art form: wet, soft clay that’s naturally organic can be shaped into handmade forms with solid, crisp edges. Each hand-drawn letterform features a seamless blend of two usually disparate type styles: serifs and sans serifs. The logotype itself juxtaposes the playfully rounded monogram — a nod to the curved shapes throughout much of the artist’s work.
